Hawley-Lambert and Pirelli Reach Distribution Agreement for North America

Levis, Quebec and Lexington, South Carolina – July 28, 2017 – Hawley-Lambert has reached a distribution agreement for the new Pirelli PZero Velo tire range, covering both Canada and the United States.

Global leader across the car and motorbike tire market, the only supplier - since 2011 - of F1 single-seaters and Superbikes, Pirelli bounces back into the world of cycling backed-up by a 110-year-old sports tradition.

The PZero Velo range will initially be available in three different versions, featuring labels on the tires’ side, recalling the well-known PZero from F1: silver for Road Racing, red for Time Trial and blue for the Four Seasons.

We are certain that our partnership with Hawley-Lambert will make a vast number of North American customers appreciate the outstanding grip, great handling and reliability of our new bicycle tires”

“To me, it says a lot that Pirelli would make such a large investment in cycling – says Pat McGinnis, VP Commercial for Hawley-Lambert – To have such an iconic brand with its rich history re-enter the market says a lot about their confidence in the growth potential of cycling worldwide. Looking at the PZero Velo line, it’s clear Pirelli’s engineers used their years of racing experience to produce some of the most exciting road tires to hit the market in years.”

The new Pirelli PZero Velo line will be available through North American retailers as of September 2017.
